Affiliate links and sponsored placements

Routimate recommends products to fill a gap in your routine. Some of those recommendations are affiliate links. If you buy through one, Routimate may earn a commission from the retailer. You do not pay extra because of that. The retailer sets the price, and the price in the app can be out of date.

Tapping a recommendation opens go.routimate.app and then the retailer. That hop records the offer id, time, country, referrer, and user agent. It does not attach your Routimate account id. See the privacy policy.

Sponsored placements

A brand may later pay for a labeled placement in the recommendation list or on the home screen. Sponsored cards say so in the app. A sponsorship does not change your cosmetic scores. The sample data shipped with this project includes one labeled sample placement so the slot can be reviewed. It is not a paid campaign.

Sample catalog

The products in the foundation seed are fictional records shaped like Open Beauty Facts entries. They are not a live extract, and their links point at example.com. Replace them before any real affiliate relationship.
